The official response from the company that manufactures Geritol is that there is no evidence that it will increase conception rates. There is some truth in the fact that iron can help a woman’s cervical muscus which can improve chances of conception. Even though the iron may help in the Geritol vitamin, a prenatal vitamin would be more beneficial. It is taliored to women who are ovulating and/or pregnant and have more iron than Geritol. Keep in mind that on average, a woman is only 25%-35% likely to get pregnant at any given cycle.
