Will I have HPV for the Rest of my Life?

If you have been tested positive for HPV at some point, that means the virus was present in your body at the time of the test. Usually the infection clears by itself, and all noticeable symptoms will subside. However, there is no research evidence to confirm whether the virus is eliminated completely or if it is reduced to undetectable level. Therefore, it is impossible to say whether you will have HPV for the rest of your life.
