Why do I have Nightmares?

Although it’s unclear as to why we dream, a common theory is that it helps the body to release the stresses of our waking hours. If you’re having nightmares they could be stemming from unresolved issues in your daily life. It also could be something as simple as eating to close to bedtime. Your bodies digestive system is hard at work when you sleep and could be triggering your nightmares.
