Why Did the Red Scare Happen?

The Red Scare happened after the end of the Great World War. There was fear that communists, radical labor groups, immigrants, anarchist and socialists that were developing an industrialization nation at the time. The Bolshevik Revolution added more fear because of the menace to political, social and economic life of the US. Innocent people were jailed and the civil liberties were being ignored. The Red Scare ended in the 1920s.
