Who Invented the Brownie?

Historians have located the earliest known traditional brownie recipe in the 1906 edition of the Boston Cooking School cookbook. The book was edited by Fannie Merritt Farmer, but it is unknown whether she developed the recipe, or was given the recipe by an outside source. Unfortunately we will never know who invented the brownie, but I think we can all agree, this fudge-like confection will continue through the ages! For more information look here:
