Who Invented the Blimp?

The blimp was invented in Germany in 1852 and was designed by Henri Giffard. By the year 1900 there was a fleet of passenger carrying blimps called Zeppelins which were delveloped by Ferdinand von Zeppelin of Germany. Later in 1925 Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company began building their airships of the same blimp design. To find more information click here:
