Who Founded Zen Buddhism?

Zen Buddhism was founded by a Buddhist Monk from China in the 6th century. Bodhidharma( Nickname Da Mo would visit the Buddhist Temple in Northern China. He met with Emperor and the emperor was not please with him wanting to reinvent the beliefs. Bodhidharma gave up for over seven years and lived in a cave. In those seven years he wrote several books which those topics later become the foundation of Shaolin Gongfu. He had a follower , the one armed monk, Hui Ke. Hui Ke studied the teaching.
