Where is Tundra?

A vast portion of tundra is located in the far Northern Hemisphere. Tundra is classified into- arctic tundra and alpine tundra. The Arctic tundra is located around the North Pole from Siberia in Europe, to most of Alaska, the Antarctic peninsula and about half of Canada. The Alpine tundra is found all over the world- denoted by very high altitudes where trees are unable to grow.
