Where is the Tallest Building in the World?

The tallest building in the world is (disputably) the Taipei 101 tower in Taipei, Taiwan. The Taipei 101 Tower measures 509 meters (1,670 feet). However, the Tower’s massive 60-foot spire contributes to much of that height. So the argument comes into play as to whether or not to include such things as spires, antennas and/or flagpoles in height measurements. As for now though, spire included, the Taipei 101 tower is ranked 1st. Coming right along (still under construction) is the Burj Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Upon completion it proposed to be the tallest building in the world at 818 meters (2,684 feet), and yes, its stats also include an enormous spire.
