Where is the Arabian Desert?

The Arabian Desert is very vast measuring about 1.4 million square miles and covers almost all of the Arabian Peninsula. It extends over several countries and nations and a great part of the desert is in Yemen on the south western side and it also reaches into Oman, on the eastern side. Other countries where the Arabian Desert can be found include Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq as well as Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and the Persian Gulf. In spite of the desert’s treacherous passage due to its size and terrain, it has been used as a passage for commercial trade between North Africa and the Middle East.
