Where does Ringworm Come from?

Ringworm can come from contact with another human who has the fungus, it can also come from animals. Cats, dogs, goats, ferrets, horses all can carry ringworm. You can contract this by coming in direct contact with objects that the infected person or animal has touched, such as towels, clothing, brushes etc. Ringworm can be transmitted by coming in contact with infected soil also, but this is very rare.
