Where do Groundhogs Live?

Groundhogs, also known as woodchucks, live in North America and are mostly found in the northeastern and central parts of the United States. The groundhog can grow to be up to 26 inches long. Most live to be around three years old, but many live to the age of six. Groundhogs hibernate in the winter so if you’ve been trekking through the snow looking for one, give up the search until springtime!
