What Year Did the Black Plague End?

The black plague also known as the black death ended in year 1397. It was a very serious disease in the 14th century that started in 1374 and ended approximately 50 years later in 1397. It killed an estimated 75 million people in Europe and Asia. Other occurances continued in the 1700’s but the episodes were much shorter and very local. The black plague was caused by fleas that were carried by rats. The infected fleas would bite into the people giving them the disease.
