What was the Armenian Genocide?

The Armenian genocide took place just after World War 1. This was the muder of thousands of Armenian people. These people were forced to march to various prisons by the Turks and thousands of those people died simply along the way to the prison because of the harsh way they were treated by the Turks. Once the others got there, they were killed. The Turks felt as though the Armenian people were greatly inferior to them in many ways for hundreds of years.
