What Part of Speech is There?

The word ‘there’ fits into several different parts of speech. It is an adverb in the sentence ‘He is there now’. It is a pronoun in the sentence ‘There is no money left now’. In the sentence ‘I will take you to the mall, but from there you are on your own’, it is a noun. Another example is ‘Give it to that lady there’ where it is an adjective. Lastly, it is also an interjection as in the sentence ‘There! Now leave me alone’.
