What Not to Eat When Breastfeeding?

Good question. I have nursed three babies and each child was different for what caused a ‘reaction’ (excessive spitting up or fussiness). Some foods can cause gas, and some spicy foods can cause upset too. My oldest child reacted to broccoli and beans, whereas my youngest, whom I am still nursing, doesn’t tolerate spaghetti sauce or chocolate. Some babies, like my middle child, seemed to not be bothered by any foods. Unfortunately, some of it will be trail and error. You can talk to a lactation consultant too with any questions.
