What Makes a Good Science Fair Project?

Ah, the days of school science fairs, oh how I miss them. One of the best and tried and true science projects has got to be the baking soda volcano. You first build a volcano out of either clay or a salt dough. Then get a pop bottle and mold the clay or dough around the bottle but be sure to keep the hole clear because you will need this for the eruption. After you’ve built your volcano, you will want to fill the soda bottle about three-quarters the way up with warm water. Next you will need to add about six or seven drops of soap, 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Now, here comes the fun part, the vinegar. Stand back away from the volcano a bit and slowly (keyword here is slowly) add the vinegar and watch the lava fly! You can find more information here:
