What Island is Pearl Harbor on?

Pearl Harbor which is landlocked is located on the southern coast of Oahu Island, the third largest of the Hawaii chain of islands. Pearl Harbor, a National Historic Landmark, boasts of being one of the best and largest natural harbors in the Eastern Pacific and houses the US naval base and represents the place where the US became involved in World War II in 1941. Oahu Island is the home of the state capital Honolulu and is often referred to as “The Gathering Place” since it represents all the facets of Hawaii. It has a population of just over 950,000 and is a major vacation hotspot for people all over the globe.
