What is the History of Cars?

The first automobiles crested in the mid 1700’s were steam powered. Then in the early 1800’s the first cars ran by a type of gas featuring a internal combustible engine appeared on the market. In 1890 the first four cylinder engine car was created and could reach speeds of up to 35 miles an hour. In 1903 the Ford Motor company was formed and mass production began. In 1911 electric engines were created along with starters and now cars could be started much easier. In 1978 Abs systems were introduced and made vehicles much safer. And. finally in 1997 hybrids were introduced thus improving our gas mileage and controlling emissions. For more information, look here:
