What is the Clean Air Act?

The clean air act was instituted in 1970 in an effort to control air pollution in the nation. This act allowed for statutes to be made whereby parts of the nation could be targeted and helped if the pollution level was risking the health of others. The clean air act, while maybe not so powerful did pave the way for the world to realize and act on enforcing cleaner and more conscientious efforts on recycling, smoking, pollution and dirt in our country.
