What is the Cause of Chicken Pox?

Chicken pox comes from a virus known as the varicella-zoster virus. It is associated with the same family as shingles. It’s highly contagious and becomes airborne either from someone sneezing while they have it or fluid from the open sores drying up and flying off in the air.
