The black death also known as the ‘bubonic plague’ was a disease back in the middle ages that was transferred through flea bites. These bites were from rat fleas and it was thought that they left bites that turned from red to black. The person was then infected causing death. Antibiotics would have been given but back in the middle ages not much was known about medicine like it is today. These days its rare to find cases of the black death as we are much cleaner and there isn’t infestions of rats.
