Samonella poisoning is when you eat or ingest something that has been contaminated by bacteria. Samonella is from animal or human feces, if people don’t wash meat before cooking or wash their hands after going to the toilet then there is the possibility that you can contaminate food. After 12-72 hours of eating or ingesting contaminated food fever, diarrhea and stomach cramps occur. This can last up to a week. It normally clears on its own but make sure that you drink plenty of fluids to help prevent dehydration.
