What is Raid 10?

Raid 10 is actually RAID 1 + 0. It’s mirroring and striping data on hard disks. RAID 1 is mirroring and RAID 0 is striping. Striping takes the data and sends it across the disk array so when there is a failure the data can be rebuilt. Mirroring will copy exact data from drive one to a second drive. This is very effective for rebuilding data in case of failure because you have an exact copy. RAID 10 is highly recommended for irreplaceable data.You can find more information here:
