What is Qigong?

Qigong is a method of exercising, breathing, and meditation to boost and use what is called ‘life energy.’ Qigong itself is an ancient Chinese word meaning ‘energy cultivation.’ While it is used to improve breathing in asthmatics, and treat depression, stress, and chronic pain, Western medicine has yet to see any conclusive results that Qigong can be used to treat these illnesses any more than regular, healthy exercise.
