Memory is what a computer can store. There are three basic types, RAM, Hard drive, and external memory (like flash drives or DVD) RAM is the Random Access Memory. If you have a lot of RAM, then your computer will function more quickly than it would if you have less. Hard drives stores data for bigger things like programs and operating systems. Flash drives aren’t typically as big as current hard drives, but the store data that can easily be transfer from one computer to the next.
