What is Hygiene?

Hygiene is a word that stands for the steps and procedures you do to keep your body healthy and clean. A good example of performing good hygiene would be for your teeth where you would need to brush and floss on a daily basis, watch the amount of of sweets you eat, wear protection for your teeth when doing sports, and to see a dentist on a regular basis. Other hygiene practices would be to take a bath/shower each day (more often if needed) to keep dirt and odors at bay; washing your hands frequently to avoid spreading of germs; eating plenty of healthy foods; and exercising on a regular routine basis.
