What is Head Start?

Head start is a federally funded program which allows for early education. The Head Start program allows children to begin school at the age of three years old. This program will teach the children the beginnings to their school materials and it keeps a child from having to attend what is commonly known as ‘Pre-K’ or the year of school before kindergarten. However, depending on your location, Head Start pricing may be based off of your income so it is better to register early and get all of the details.
