What is Connective Tissue Disorder?

There are many diseases that affect the connective tissues in the human body. Lupus, scleroderma, marfan syndrome, arthritis and polymyositis are all connective tissue disorders. They affect the structural parts of the body that bind the cells of the body together. Ligaments and tendons are connective tissues that are affected by this type of disorder.
