Clubfoot is a birth defect that happens in about 1 in 1000 babies. Some will be born with both feet being affected by the disorder, and others, with only one foot that is clubbed. What happens is that the foot will twist inward so that the child is unable to put the bottom of their foot, or the sole, flat on the floor. The causes of this is unknown. All they have figured out is that it occurs in the first three months of being pregnant.
