What is China Currency?

The currency in China is the Renminbi and the units of the renminibi is the Yaun. It is available in denominations of 1 yaun, 5 yaun, 10 yaun, 20 yaun, 50 yaun, 100 yaun, 200 yaun, 500 yaun and 5,000 yaun. In addition to the paper money there are also coins called jiao and fen (100 fen = 1 jiao and 10 jiao = 1 yaun). The Chineese are responsible for the creation of paper money back in the 9th century.
