What is Aspirin Used for?

Aspirin can be used for several things. It can be taken when you have a headache or can be given to a person who is having a heart attack to thin the blood. For maintenance, you can take an 81mg, or baby aspirin, to protect the heart from heart attacks. Diabetic patients can take 1-325mg aspirin a day, as a preventative, to protect themselves from heart attacks and stroke.
