What is a Savannah?

A savanna is grassland which has scattered shrubs and tress all around. Savannas can be found between a tropical rain forest and a desert. Temperature in savannas is warm for the entire year. However, there are two seasons in savannas, one is long dry season–winter, and second is a very wet season–summer. A large variety of plants which can easily adapt to the changing temperatures can be found in savannas. Also, this variety of plants provides food for different predators.
