What is a Pitbull?

The Pit Bull Terrier is a breed of dog originally bread for bull baiting, bear baiting and dog fighting. Pit Bulls are dog-aggressive and should not be left with other dogs unsupervised. They have a drive to stalk prey animals, and can often get out of what you think is an escape-proof kennel. Pit Bulls are smart and do well with Frisbee and agility tasks. Even though they are dog-aggressive, Pit Bulls love people and do not make good watch dogs. They are eager to please humans, but need strong leadership.
