What is a Logical Fallacy?

A logical fallacy is an argument which does not make sense when examined in a rational, scientific manner. The most common is the ‘Ad hominem’ attack, where the person making a claim is attacked instead of the claim itself. For example, Brandon claims that Dominic cannot run as fast as him. Dominic responds by saying that Brandon’s socks do not match. Logically, Brandon’s socks are completely irrelevant to whether or not Brandon can run faster than Dominic.You can find more information here:
