What is a Glucose Tolerance Test?

A glucose tolerance test is a test given in a Dr.’s office if he suspects you have diabetes. You drink glucose and over the next 2 hours, your sugar is taken every 30 minutes. At the 2 hours mark, they check your sugar levels. If they are between 110-125, you would be considered borderline diabetic. Anything above 126, you would be considered a diabetic.
