What Happened to James Earl Ray?

James Earl Ray, the man convicted of assassinating Martin Luther King, Jr., died at the age of 70 in a Nashville prison on April 23, 1998. Shortly after he confessed and was convicted of the 1968 killing, Ray recounted his story saying he had been set-up and didn’t deliver the bullets that killed King.
