What does the Water Cycle Look Like?

The water cycle describes how our limited water supply moves all over the Earth. The main parts of the cycle are evaporation/transpiration, condensation, precipitation, and collection. When the cycle is drawn as a picture, it includes land and ocean on the bottom and the sun and clouds in the sky. The water moves through all of these as water evaporates from the surface of the Earth, water vapor condenses and it rains, rain falls on the land and groundwater flows toward the oceans again.
