Normal stool varies from one person to another. For the most part, normal stool should be brown to golden in color. Eating enough fiber should help with maintaining a healthy stool. Always look at your stool to make sure it is healthy in color and shape. A healthy stool shape should be similar to a sausage and should have some texture, although I don’t recommend touching your stool. Running stool could be signs of infection within your system. While hard stool or constipation could be signs of an unhealthy diet. Always eat lots of fruits and vegetables while having a daily dose of fiber, and your stool will be the envy of all your family and friends.
