What does Endometriosis Look Like?

Endometriosis does not have a set color, shape or size. It occurs when the uterine lining migrates from the uterus and attaches to other organs inside the pelvic cavity or abdomen. The endometrial tissue that attaches to other organs appear as spots in various sizes. They can be black, red, brown, clear or a variation of colors.
