What does a Virus Look Like?

There are so many types of viruses out there that each one of them has its own unique look and design. Many look like spheres, while others look like spirals. The AIDS virus, for example, is said to resemble a basketball, in that it is spherical, with ‘bumps’ covering the surface. It is also hollow, like a basketball. H1N1 also looks like a sphere, but it has what resembles tiny, short ‘hairs’ extending all around it. All viruses come in many different shapes and forms, and are very complex and fascinating, yet sometimes devastating little buggers!
