What does a PSP do?

A PSP, or PlayStation Portable, is a portable gaming system that plays relatively high quality games on a small, hand held screen. The PSP also touts the ability to play movies and music, which several other hand held systems on the market just cannot muster, and fall behind on. The PSP requires a specific type of mini-disk that comes in a plastic cartridge, which is inserted similarly to a tape into the PSP, which is bought separately. The graphical capabilities of the PSP can be likened to that of the late PS1, with some moderate enhancements that the PS1 was incapable of managing at the time.
