A cashier’s check is consider to be a more secure form of payment, and is drawn on a bank instead of your personal account. This means that the bank has the obligation to pay the payee. Cashier’s checks are frequently used in scams and a good check should have the name, address and telephone number of the issuing bank, the name of the payee as well as the name of person from whom the check is being paid.
