What does a Business Analyst do?

A business analyst’s (BA) responsibilities varies by organization, however, an overview of what a BA does is as follows: (1) Identify a business problem (2) Talk the players involved (3) Document process to solve business problem (this is called the requirements) (4) Requirements are presented to all concerned (5) Developers use requirements to write code (software program) (6) BA works with quality control on program and (7) Product is presented to appropriate stakeholders for acceptance (8) Final product is ready for delivery.
