What do Bees do in the Winter?

In the areas that get snow in the winter, and temps drop below 50 degrees, the bees go into the hive. They do not come out as there are no flowers to pollinate. The bees all huddle in the middle of the hive to keep warm. The colder it gets out side the tighter they huddle. They keep warm by moving around inside the huddle. For more information, look here:
