What Diseases do Mice Carry?

There are four different kinds of mice which all carry different diseases. Some are more serious than others. House mice, roof mice, and Norway rats are of the least concern. These mice usually live around buildings, shrubs, walls and attics. These mice are more of pain because they gnaw on furniture, books and wiring. They can contaminate our food by urine or excrement. These mice can carry parasites like fleas, worms and mites that can spread disease.The deer mouse has the most threat to human society. They have been known to carry Lyme Disease and Hanta virus. These mice should be controlled in order not spread diseases.
