What Countries Fought in WWII?

The countries that fought during WWII can be divided between the allies and the axis countries. There were three main countries for both the allied and the axis. For the allies it was the United States of America, the United Kingdom and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, they were known as the ‘big three’. For the axis it was Germany, Italy, and Japan. Although other countries played some role these were the BIG three for each the allies and the axis.
