What Causes Herpes Simplex?

Herpes is a sexually transmitted disease, caused by the Herpes simplex virus (HSV). There are two forms of the Herpes simplex virus. Herpes simplex 1 (HSV-1) and herpes simplex 2 (HSV-2).
