What are the Symptoms of Schizophrenia?

There are 3 categories of symptoms in Schizophrenia. Positive symptoms include unusual thoughts or perceptions that include hallucinations, delusions, thought disorder and disorders of movement. Negative symptoms represent a lose or decrease in the ability to start plans, speak, express emotion, or find any pleasure in life. Cognitive symptoms are problems with attention and certain memory, and the functions that allow people to plan and organize.
