What are the Symptoms of High Blood Pressure?

Most people with high blood pressure feel fine and do not find out they have high blood pressure until a routine exam. Very severe high blood pressure (160 over a 100 or higher) may lead to hypertensive crisis. Symptoms of severe high blood pressure are headaches, visual disturbances, nausea and vomiting. If left untreated over time high blood pressure can damage organs such as the heart kidneys or eyes.
